Longtime friends, Lucy Malia and Nick DiBlasio, began Lefty Lucy in the Philadelphia area. Shortly thereafter, the two started touring playing as a duo, trio, and a five-piece band.

Over the course of their career in Music, they have become the house bands in many exotic locations like the following:

BERMUDA: Over the span of 7 years, Lefty Lucy has performed as the house band in two of Bermuda’s hottest Nightclubs in Hamilton, The Hog Penny and The Pickled Onion.

ST. THOMAS: They spent two seasons in St. Thomas as the house band at the Greenhouse in Charlotte Amalie, where they released their debut album, broadcast LIVE on Radio Margaritaville. 

While in St. Thomas, they were able to tour other Islands and play shows in Puerto Rico, St. Croix, and St. John.

LAS VEGAS: Lefty Lucy spent 6 years performing as the house band for Toby Keith at his “I Love This Bar and Grill,” at Harrah’s as well as many nightclubs on the famous Las Vegas Strip; Margaritaville, Planet Hollywood, The Flamingo, Carnaval Court, The Piano Bar, O’Shea’s.

It was in Las Vegas that Lefty Lucy’s five-piece Country band was chosen as the Opening Act for Kenny Chesney at the MGM Grand Garden Arena playing their original music to a sold-out crowd of 18,000 people.

CO SKI RESORT: Lefty Lucy just celebrated their 20th Anniversary season as the house band at Copper Mtn Ski Resort in Colorado for the 2021-2022 winter snow season.

KEY WEST: Performing at many of Key West’s favorite jaunts, Lefty Lucy has been a presence there for the past 9 years. Some of their favorite venues have been Sloppy Joe’s, Smokin’ Tuna, The Lazy Gecko, Mangoes, Island Dogs, and Rick’s.

ATLANTIC CITY: As staples in both Atlantic City and Long Beach Island areas, Lefty Lucy has played countless venues over their 10 years there. The Hard Rock Cafe Atlantic City, Bally’s Beach Bar, Harrah’s Eden Lounge, Trump Plaza Beach Bar, The Golden Nugget, Harry’s Oyster Bar at Bally’s, and The Sand Bar in Long Beach Island.

FLORIDA: Now making SW Florida their home while they are not in Colorado, Lefty Lucy is based in the Sarasota area playing The Hard Rock in Tampa, and places in and around Sarasota and Siesta Key.
